Elected officials represent us throughout our entire government, from local councils all the way to the White House. These representatives are selected at the polls on election day. You can register to vote one of three ways:

Are you eligible to register to vote?
There are five main points you need to comply with in order to register to vote.
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must be a United States Citizen
- You must live at the address provided on your application
- You must not be barred from voting by reason of a felony conviction
- You must not have been judged “mentally incompetent” in a court of law
If you meet these five requirements, you can register to vote at any time.
How to register to vote.
As mentioned above, you can register to vote online, in-person, or through the mail.

Register In-Person
If you like to register in-person, got to the Mobile County Board of Registrars office in downtown Mobile, AL. The office is located at 151 Government St Ste 165, Mobile, Alabama 36602. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. If you have any questions, please call the office at (251)574-8586. You can also email any questions to voter@mobile-county.net.
Register through the mail
If you like to register through the mail for Mobile County, you can fill out and print this form. You can also have a form mailed to you by filling out the contact information on the Alabama Secretary of State’s site as well. Once you have completed your application, mail it to the Mobile County Board of Registrars.

When should you submit your voter registration application by?
We cannot stress the importance of submitting your application before the deadline to register passes. In the State of Alabama, you must register 15-days prior to election day. If you are submitting your voter registration form through the mail, make sure your application is postmarked 15-days prior to the election you like to participate in.
What types of elections can you vote in?
Federal elections occur every two years, and a presidential election is held every fourth year. During any Federal election, every member of the House of Representatives and about one-third (1/3) of the Senate is up for election.

Who is the Mobile County Republican Party?
The Republican Party is a party of “can do.” We are a party of prosperity. The Mobile County Republican Party is the official Republican Party for Mobile County. We are made up of hard-working Americans, looking to keep our nation great. Our Republican elected officials are working hard every day to help turn conservative ideas into good public policy.
Our purpose is four-fold:
- To represent Republicans living in Mobile County
- To be responsible for the maintenance, progress, and harmony of the Republican Party in Mobile County
- To educate Republican Party members in the principles of the Party
- To perform functions and activities usually performed by local political parties or organizations
The Mobile County Republican Party is open to anyone to join. Meetings are on the first Monday of the first month of each quarter (January, April, July, October) and begin at 7 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Airport and Sage. Meetings are open to everyone interested in becoming involved with the Mobile County Republican Party.
